The current version is 4.0. This version is a result of responding to customer requests. AceReader version 4.0 has been enhanced in the following ways:

• Major Enhancements:
  • This version allows multi-line text displaying. So now AceReader can pace your eye movement left to right AND top to bottom. Multi-line text displaying means that now you can display more than 5 words per flash. The previous version could show a maximum of 5 words and all text was flashed on one single line.
  • This version has more than double the reading/comprehension tests! Once registered, you get access to 204 reading/comprehension tests broken out by grade levels 1-12. The previous registered version had 79 tests.
  • New speed algorithm. Now when you have a speed selected, you do not need to adjust the speed when you display different amounts of text per flash. The speed will dynamically adjust. You can select fixed speeds or variable speeds.
• Other Enhancements:
  • Can now save any data you loaded via the clipboard to files for later viewing. This version also remember the last 5 opened files to make it easier to re-load previously opened files.
  • All options including current speed setting and screen size/position are automatically saved between sessions.
  • Tip of the Day has been added.
  • Many other minor updates and maintenance updates.

This demo can be unlocked (via registration code entry) and made into fully functional version after purchase is made. The differences between the UNREGISTERED-DEMO and REGISTERED version of AceReader are:

• The Demo version has a 30 day expiration.
• The Registered version comes with 198 additional reading/comprehension tests that are broken out by grade levels (1-12). That over 200 tests total! The demo comes with 6 tests.
• The Registered version does not have the higher speed limitation.
• The Registered version does not have the initial registration screen that pops up when AceReader is started.
• Users of the Registered version get 90 days support.
