Eat Drink Dine - Master sommelier Evan Goldstein has created this site to guide users through creative wine and food pairings. No hard and fast rules here, just plenty of information.

AskOxford.com - AskOxford appears as the revised edition of the Concise Oxford Dictionary hits bookstores, both from Oxford University Press. Not just for grammar wonks, the web site is a vast resource for the English language, as the dictionary is, but it's a lot more fun. 

A Whole Lotta Shakin' - The official Elvis web site gives fans of The King everything they could want, short of a second-coming: virtual tours of Graceland, Elvisology, audio and video clips of performances - even a chance to sign up for a free @elvis.com e-mail address.

Who Wants To Be a Fobionaire - "Many will try. But only a few will win…" warns Fobianaire, an online trivia game that mimics Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. The game tests players' trivial knowledge of American-Asian pop culture.

Photocartoonist Extraordinaire - Featuring the portfolio of Kat.Caverly, a greeting card photographer and maven, Photocartoonist is a collection of photos of funny people looking funny, many with funny captions written below the photos to make them even funnier.

Cycle Jumpers of the World - Billed as "your e-jumping destination," the site features the jumps, the bikes and the crashes of the world's greatest living and dead daredevil motorcycle jumpers, from America's Evel and Robbie Knievel, to China's Zhu Chaohui, who jumped a Suzuki 250 across the Yellow River before 50,000 spectators. 

The Victorian Web - A web-based translation of materials for courses in Victorian literature at Brown University, the Victorian Web is an exhaustive resource covering it all.

Rare Bob Dylan - This site of previously unreleased live recordings of Bob Dylan in concert includes many rare recordings via RealAudio. Among the gems, two songs intended for the 1964 never-released Bob Dylan In Concert album, "Lay Down Your Weary Tune" and "John Brown" - the latter not released until the 1995 Unplugged album.

Wood That Works - 'Wood That Works' is an art website dedicated to the displaying David C. Roy's mesmerizing wooden sculptures.  

Skyscrapers - Located in New York City, the Skyscraper Museum pays tribute to these architectural monoliths, their history, symbolism and construction. The website behind the museum is equally interesting, complete with virtual exhibitions that examine topics such as urbanism, architecture and business.

Episode Guides - This massive database site contains Episode Lists - titles and air dates -- for over 1,800 TV shows and more detailed guides with guest stars and plot summaries for over 500 shows. You can't watch the programs here, though site creators have provided search tools and links to send you to the source.  

Andante - Rich with both commentary and performances of the works, Andante.com is dedicated to preserving recorded classical music for both sophisticated and beginning fans of the art.

Journey Woman - Women are different - even when they travel - and this resource for the female traveler acknowledges the difference with subscriptions to its quarterly online newsletter, tips, ideas and info for sojourning in various cities - all for girls (of any age) only.

Brain Power - This mental-fitness site is designed for people who are interested in evaluating, understanding and improving the performance potential of their own brain.

SmokeymonkeyS - SmokeymonkeyS is from two Japanese gamers/designers who wanted to create online games, but whose starting point is clearly graphic design - or rather, image creation. Those here are remarkable: start in the Gallery to sample the ethereal, detailed characters created in a ghostly Eastern - but definitely not anime - style. 

Mos Eisley Multiplex - Devoted to mining the Star Wars universe for new story lines, parodies and versions of existing tales, this site features low-budget films produced by groups of fans, who use both new and old characters to create their own tales, called fan films, of the classic space epic.

Manhole Mania - Part of a global mail art project called Sewers of the World, Unite!, this site is the exhibition page of a collection of photographic images of manhole and other access covers to water and gas pipes, electrical and telecommunication cables, gutters and grillwork related to sewers of all kinds.
