Time Magazine is one of the most circulated political publications in the world. Founded in 1923, it has captured almost a century of world politics, human achievement and cultural change. The archives at Time.com are a fascinating collage documentation of the major events of the 20th Century. Visitors can "Ask The Archivist" specific questions, take the "Cover Quiz", and scroll through the different "Time Collections" on subjects such as Space Travel, World War II, and The British Royals. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/archives Celebrity Safari A great addition to anyone's photo album is a personal snapshot with a celebrity. Celebrity Safari is a 'non-professional' photography community that posts casual pics of people with their favorite celebs. Browse the gallery to see stars striking an impromptu pose with an enthusiastic fan. Each photo is accompanied by funny commentary by its owner. Entries include a great shot of Ray Charles, a photo of the Iranian hostages at their first and only reunion, and other images of familiar famous faces. Doodles, Drafts & Designs "Doodles, Drafts, and Designs" is a travelling exhibition of Industrial Drawings, courtesy of the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. These skilled drawings are the original inspiration behind our industrial inventions, from tall buildings to speeding trains and airplanes to public arenas and beyond. The exhibition's website is a fascinating introduction to industrial design artwork. Take the virtual tour and view the extensive exhibition of draft work, and go to the Innovators Gallery to learn about the dreamers who brought us everyday items such as crayons, brassieres and shopping carts. The exhibit displays the usually unseen relationship between artwork and industry. http://www.sil.si.edu/exhibitions/doodles/
