Nature of the Beast

Nature of the Beast is a beautiful online exhibition, brought to us by the Pacific Asia Museum. Using a brilliantly designed interactive Flash website, it explores the themes and roles of animals in Japanese paintings and prints.

Browse the different sections of the exhibit and you will learn about the artistry and symbolism behind these beautiful Japanese prints, as well as the political and cultural climate in which they were created. The three major sections, "Tradition", "Imagination", "Reality", explain the different perspectives through which Japanese artists perceived and captured the Nature of the Beast.

Don't Date Him Girl

This girl-power website is "revolutionizing the way women date". At the very least, it is putting tremendous fear in the hearts of any man who has "strayed" in his lifetime.

The "Don't Date Him Girl" website is a constantly-updated database of cheaters, allowing women who so desire to check out a guy before she agrees to go out with him or commit seriously. If you are a marked man, it is a virtual scarlet letter posted on the online universe for all to see.

All to Flat

The wonderful madmen behind AllTooFlat.Com named their website after an obscure line from a Monty Python film. This is a good sign for those who like to laugh, which is the main goal of this creative, eccentric site.

There are some really cool features on the website, including "The Bible According to Cheese", advice on how to feed your goldfish, and haikus about NAFTA. Be sure to check out the "Pranks" section, which contains photo journals of the ATF troupe's many ingenious public and private stunts.

Miami's New Skyline

This cool feature, courtesy of the Miami-Herald's website, shows the upcoming evolution of the Miami skyline. With over 100 new buildings set to rise in the next few years, the cityscape of this popular destination will have a brand new look.

The aim of the Geographic British Isles project is to create a photographic record of every square kilometer in the British Isles. The coolest part about this eccentric undertaking is that you can participate in it.
