Losers on the Internet - losers.org ~~~~~~~~~Sponsor's Message~~~~~~~~~~ Handheld wireless devices are going to be ubiquitous in the very near future. If you're interested in keeping up with the latest information in this field, check out the I-Wireless Digest, an excellent moderated newsletter published twice weekly. The I-Wireless Discussion List ~~~~~~~~Please support our sponsor~~~~~~~~ One of the most powerful aspects of the internet are communities offering resources and support for those dealing with serious health issues. A great example of this is CancerPage which offers news, research, and information on the prevention, detection, and treatment of this scary disease. The site is staffed with oncologists, nurses, cancer patients, and the families of those touched by cancer. They support you in finding what treatments seem to work best as well as alternative approaches to wellness and recovery. From the initial greeting by an animated Sumo wrestler offering a choice of rice bowls, labeled fat and slim (connection speeds) in a voice reminiscent of John Belushi, this site generates entertaining and irrevrant takes on a wide variety of subjects. Check out the "Behind the Music that Sucks" section (a takeoff on the VH1 series) which trashes some of popular music's greatest icons including Puff Daddy, Brittany Spears, Jewel, Barbara Streisand and Marilyn Manson. Very funny stuff!!! Heavy Entertainment (adult language) According to a Gallup poll, 8 to 12 million people in the United States have had a near-death experience. This site offers hundreds of NDE stories from all walks of life including stories by Peter Sellers and Edgar Cayce. It is easy to get lost in the stories and bathe in the light. A great site!
